Noida or as it is less commonly known New Okhla Industrial Development Area is a city that has witnessed a massive change in the last 30 odd years. People from all corners of India have moved here and are now living in some of the sky-high flats that can be found all over the city. While the parents went to their offices, schools opened up for the children. As the population has grown so has the number of good schools. But what are the best schools in Noida?

Through the passage of time 10 schools have managed to distinguish themselves from the cluster and have come on top as the best schools in Noida. This list has been compiled after looking through and analyzing multiple lists drawn up by organizations that specialize in reviewing educational institutes.

1. The Khaitan School

The Khaitan School was established in 1995. Located in Sector 40, it is a coeducational day boarding school that is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school which was founded by renowned industrialist G.N Khaitan now has more than 4000 students on its register.

Khaitan was ranked by Education World as the 83rd best coeducation school in India and as the 7th Best in Noida. The 3.5-acre campus has 85 classrooms for Playgroup all the way to Class 12th. The school boasts of a massive library which has more than 8000 books stacked in it. Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Physics are all there for all the science lovers.

Khaitan also has a 7-acre sports complex equipped with two cricket pitches, four practice, a shooting range and many more sports facilities. Admissions begin in the month of September.

The 10-acre campus is equipped with all the modern facilities necessary for the development of students. Sports facilities and science laboratories are also of top quality. Indus Valley Public School has made a major impact on the education community as it was ranked as one of the best schools in Noida by Hindustan Times and C-Fore along with being adjudged the “School of the Future” by Education World in 2012.

The number of awards received by IVPS is extremely impressive. It was ranked as one of the best schools in the Ranking Survey 2018, conducted by Digital Learning Magazine in the November 2018 issue. IVPS has been awarded for being the best Public School in Primary and Secondary Education in Delhi, NCR region by the Royal Brands in association with “Delhi Aaj Tak” by the former Union Minister, Govt. of India, Mr. Kapil Sibal.

The school which was a joint venture between the Sriram Group of Schools and Educomp, the largest education company in India, opened its doors in 2009.

Sriram is located in Sector 135 and has a campus that is equipped with fully air-conditioned classes and sports facilities The school has a full time working infirmary for any emergencies that may arise on campus. The entire school is monitored 24/7 by CCTV cameras to ensure the safety of students. Classes are from Preschool all the way to Class 12th. Admissions start in November.

Established in 1992 with its aim towards providing quality education to students, the school is consistently ranked as one of the best schools in Noida. In the 2017 ranking by Education World, it was placed as the Number 1 coeducation school in India and in 2018 it was placed at Number 3.

Step by Step is affiliated to CBSE board and has classes from Nursery to Class 12th. The policy of Step by Step School is to put equal focus on studies as well as co-curricular activities, the 10 Acre campus is equipped with all the necessary facilities required to achieve this principle.

6. Apeejay School

Apeejay is spread across a massive campus size of around 15 Acres and is divided into four blocks, pre-primary, primary , middle and senior. All the classes have been digitized to enhance the learning experience. The school also houses a large auditorium that can fit in it around 1500 students at any given time. All the necessary sports facilities have also been provided. Admissions for Nursery begin in January.

7. Somerville School

Somerville School was established in Sector 22 in 1987 by the Lott Carey Baptist Mission in India. It is a coeducation day school that is affiliated to the CBSE board. The school classifies itself as an Unaided Christian Minority School and is still to this day run by the Lott Carey Baptist Mission in India. The general aim of the institute is to provide an excellent education to its pupils and inculcate in them ethical values, discipline and leadership qualities.

The school was ranked as the 50th best day school in India by Education World in 2017 and as the 72nd in 2018 along with being considered as one of the best schools in Noida. The 6 acre campus houses spacious classrooms and a large auditorium which can host around 700 students. Laboratories and sports facilities are also present. Somerville provides classes from Nursery through Class XII.

8. Lotus Valley International School

Located in Sector 126, the institution was established in the year 2008 with only 73 students admitted. Being one of the best among the DPS school it has all the facilities that can be expected from the brand, be it a swimming pool or an auditorium, all are present in the 10-acre campus. 10. Amity International School

A part of the Amity group of schools, it is also one of the highest rated schools in India. It is ranked as the 20th Best School in India by Education World in 2017 as well as constantly being ranked as one of the best schools in Noida by aggregator sites such as School My Kids. It is located in Sector 44.

Amity International has a sticking Teacher to Student ratio of 1:17 which enables it to ensure individual care to every student on its roll call. The massive 15 Acre campus is divided into six wings based on the hierarchy of classes. The campus is equipped with, apart from all the usual facilities that can be expected from a school of this caliber, a shooting range and a separate Hall for Karate.
