Campus

The SN Vidya Bhavan campus is spread across three blocks. The school has two campuses – one houses the nursery section and the other houses the main school. The school infrastructure consists of over 60 well-ventilated classrooms and a separate science blocks that hosts the laboratories. The school laboratories include a biology lab, chemistry lab, two computer labs for lower section & upper section each, another computer lab for the senior secondary students, electronics lab, mathematics lab and an English language lab. The library is well-stocked with over 1400 reference books, subscription to 7 dailies, 23 periodicals and tons of magazines on diverse topics.

The school’s playground is huge and has facilities for football, basketball and volleyball nets. SNVBSS also has an infirmary that includes a single bed and is supervised by an efficient nurse as well as separate halls for dance and music practice. The hostel facilities at the educational institute are available for students from class 6 to 12 and are separate for both boys and girls. Each hostel is supervised by a male and a female warden.

Academics and Extracurricular Activties

English is the primary medium of instruction but students learn Hindi and Malayalam as the second and third languages, respectively. Being one of the best boarding schools in Kerala, it offers students many activities. The extracurriculars offered at SNVBSS are kabaddi, drawing, volleyball, painting, electrical repairing, dance, handicraft, needlework, elocution, dramatics and debate alongside periodic educational tours and picnics.
