Established in 1980, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar has become one of the most trusted schools in Indore. It is a CBSE affiliated, English medium day school that was established by Sri Sathya Sai Trust. It is one of the oldest and leading schools in Indore. The school administration believes in imparting spiritual and human values in their children along with academics.

Architect Surya Kant Patel designed the main school building of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Indore. It has two parts, with a separate building made for students of kindergarten and classes 1-4 which is called ‘Bal Mandir’. The authorities believe that it is a temple for kids’ learning. The main building has 3 blocks for junior, middle and senior classes separated by three open courtyards with trees and natural sunlight throughout the day. SSSVV used to be an all-girls school back in 2013 but is a co-ed school now.    

Other than their educational services SSSVV workers were recently praised for their good deed of making food packages for Covid-19 for nearby hospitals.

Infrastructure

• The hexagonal form of the well-lit and ventilated classrooms guarantees minimum distance between the teacher and the students.
• Gardens with bright flowers and a lush green lawn make the environment healthy, safe and the atmosphere pleasant
• Fully equipped laboratories for Chemistry, Biology, Computer, I.T., Biotechnology, Social Science, Maths and Language.
• Multimedia aids like smart classrooms and Audio Video rooms are used for teaching regular topics of Science, Maths & Social Studies and thus the teachers are trained to prepare their own lesson plans.
• Grounds/courts for Football, Basketball, Tennis and Kho-Kho.
• A Sports Complex has been constructed which has an indoor stadium cum auditorium to provide facilities for indoor games like Badminton, Table tennis etc.

Library:

Fully equipped E-Library with windows placed in a manner that allows a well illuminated, breezy and quiet environment.

Lunch:

Lunch in school is a compulsory facility for students. The menu is decided by a committee of teachers, parents and students. The food prepared by the school’s staff and is known for its quality and nutritional value.

Transport:

A fleet of 30 buses provides the facility of commuting between home and school to those who wish to avail it. The students of classes XI & XII only are permitted to bring gearless two-wheelers, that too, after getting their names registered in the school after showing their registration book and a valid driving license to the administrator.

Health Monitoring: 

• An annual check-up is mandatory for all the students.
• A counsellor is available during school hours for the emotional well-being of all students.
• A sick room has been built to provide comfort to the children who fall sick in school. All expenses of first aid are borne by the school.

A.V. Room and Tata Class Edge Labs:

The school is equipped with 18 Tata Interactive Class Edge Smart Classes to ensure zero boredom amongst students and to promote efficient learning. A 70-seater audio-visual room is available for students when there are workshops being conducted and when the teachers feel the need of providing audio visuals to enhance the process of teaching.

Admission Procedure

• Application forms are available in the school. Parents can fill them out and gather more information from the SSSVV reception called ‘Swagatam’.
• The school grants admission for class 9^th to 12^th strictly on the basis of Admission Test.
• Syllabus for admission test is provided at the time of submission of admission form at Swagatam.
