Wynberg Allen School (WAS), a result of joint efforts of four friends who met Kanpur was founded along the Tehri Road in 1888. It started as a Training Centre and an Orphanage and was later named Wynberg Allen School and in 1984 were shifted to its present location.

WAS, a school with history of 132 years is one of the oldest in India. The school is spread over an area of 135-acres and has state of the art facilities to educate the bright minds of the students.

The ICSE-affiliated Co-ed school has many hostellers and provides them with all the basic amenities. With the aim to develop unique, student-friendly environment it houses a well-stocked library, well-equipped science labs, Audio-visual lab and a separate area for music-art & craft. For the physical development of the students, WAS has 2-multipurpose grounds, squash courts, indoor stadium, a heated swimming pool, basketball, football etc.

The school has classses from the 1^st grade to the 12^th grade and students can choose between Science, Commerce and Humanities. With the mission of overall development, WAS encourages students to practice a skill of their own choice as part of the After School Program varying from visual and performing arts to general recreation.

2. The candidates have to sit for an entrance examination/interview in order to avail of the vacant seats posted by the school office. Those children who are registered will be notified of the date of the examination (age limit are specfed separately)
3. A Transfer Certificate from the previous School must be furnished before joining School counter signed by the appropriate education authority of the State concerned
4. Attach a copy of Birth Certificate

NOTE:Admissions to Class 11 is considered on the basis of the candidates' performance at the I.C.S.E or any equivalent examination
