Army Public School, Pune was founded in 1988 and it is a co-educational school affiliated with the CBSE board, New Delhi. Primary students are encouraged to participate in calligraphy, drawing, coloring, writing and recitation. At the senior level, it includes speaking, extempore, poem recitation and Sanskrit elocution.

e. Children of civilians paid out of Defence Estimates, Para Military Forces including Coast Guard, MES, GREF, TA (when not embodied)

f. Grand children of serving/retired Army personnel
