Loyola High School is an English medium school affiliated to Maharashtra Board SSC and HSC exams. It was established in the year 1961 and is run by the Society of Jesus with the motto “men for others” which had a humble beginning but now had grown into a big institution with 1400 boy students. This school got its name from St. Ignatius of Loyola belonging to the sixteenth century, who contributed a lot for the development of education and was the founder of the Society of Jesus. It is a day-cum residential school with all the basic facilities. It covers a wide area of 22 acres of greeny land situated at the Pashan road in Pune. This school is the pioneer of high-quality education in India and ranked as the third-best school in India. It is a popular school in Pune.

There are four houses namely green, blue, red and gold, each house has it’s commander and flag bearer. Inter-school competitions are conducted to motivate the students to taste the fruits of success. It has a big library with many books in all fields, a well-equipped auditorium, high tech smart rooms are available, a very vast playground where all kind of sports can be practised. There are three swimming pools, a separate basketball court is available and the football ground. Apart from sports, all kind of arts like music, dance, elocution, debating is all provided equal importance, and this makes the students perfect in all fields.

The students are taught all ethical, moral values which are very necessary for the holistic development of them who are the future pillars of this society. Learning a language is a great deal to do; they teach Hindi and Marathi compulsorily until the eighth standard. They have separate laboratories for all science genres like physics, chemistry, biology and computer science.
