St Mary'S School, Pune

St. Mary's School, Pune, was established in 1866. It is a private minority institution affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). In June 1976, Mrs Elizabeth Matthew was appointed principal and through her tenure, the school's enrolment magnified from 840 to two,700 students. The program was enriched, and numerous amenities were added to the school.

The mission of St. Mary's faculty is to "nurture youngsters and build them into enlightened, educated people who fearlessly articulate, caring, and humane. Also, they can seize every opportunity to learn, seek and serve not just the community but the nation and the world.

The school prepares students for the 10th standard ICSE exam and gives great importance to a proficiency in English. Hindi is the second language and students study it from the first to tenth standard. Mahrati is the third language and students study it from the 5th to 8th grade.

Students who have lived abroad and haven't studied Hindi in class VI in their previous faculty are exempted from studying Hindi. Such students could apply for a foreign language as their second language.

In the pre-nursery and nursery, the main focus is on language development and social behavior. The school integrates the utilization of technology with the usage of varied fashionable teaching ways.

Pre-nursery — Girls

Eligibility:

The pre-nursery is only for girls. The kid should have completed 2 years six months by July 1 of the admission year.

Nursery– Girls

For admission into the girl's nursery section, a child should have been four years old. There are 30 seats available in the nursery section. The application form to be submitted online.

Pre - nursery – Boys

Boys can be admitted into the UKG section onwards. All admission forms should be submitted online. Only 35 seats are available yearly.

Procedure

The application form can be filled and downloaded from the school website is valid and all other ways will be rejected. There will be a unique reference number printed on the application form, and it will be noted for all future communication regarding your application.

Parents also are needed to arrange photocopies of the subsequent documents and on these photocopies. Parents are required to mention the unique reference number(URN) on the same.

1. Proof of residence-Ration card /passport /latest bill (photocopy echt by a gazetted officer).

2.Collage and degree certificates of father and mother. (Photocopy echt by a gazetted officer) No mark sheets.

3. Birth certificate of the child.

After completing the above, parents must visit the school office on a specified date in December between 9.30 am and 12.30. Rs.200 is to be paid for the application process.
