Udgam School For Children was established in the densely populated area of Thaltej, in 1965 by Mrs Sarojben Carvalho. Soon after the school was taken over by Kantilal Jaikishandas Charitable Trust in 1991, the school grew in size and gained recognition. Udgam School For Children is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with the medium of instruction English. 

With its commitments to academics, Udgam School continued to excel, and soon it has been considered among the top CBSE schools of Gujarat. The school campus is environmentally friendly with rainwater harvesting facility. It is safe with appropriate fire safety equipment.
