Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya is a residential school affiliated to the Bihar state government board. To provide education for all in the area, the Chief Minister of Bihar inaugurated Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya. It is a co-educational school that uses English as the medium of instruction. Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya provides education for students from grade 6 to grade 12. The school is backed by the Simultala Education Society which is fully funded by the Human Resource Development Department of the Bihar Government. The curriculum is carefully engineered to provide quality education and monitor their progress. Students are assessed monthly in the form of formative assessments that are prepared on the guidelines provided by CBSE. Students of Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya have proved their intellectual prowess in the annual Bihar board exams and even in International Olympiads like the International Mathematics Olympiad and International Science Olympiads.

Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya offers a variety of facilities which includes a rich library with daily newspapers, magazines, poetry, novels, essays, drawings, and other articles in both English and Hindi. Near the library, a computer centre with state-of-the-art computers is provided; this helps students get familiar with technology and be future-ready. Cultural programs, including plays, singing competitions, dance competitions, and debates are held for the multidimensional growth of students of all ages. Films have been an indispensable part of our daily life and keeping this in mind, Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya shows students one film every week that are inspirational and knowledgeable.

Other co-curricular activities, like essay writing and quiz contests, are also held here. Clubs on science, music, arts, geography, drama, agriculture, photography, computer, and the environment are available. Students are also encouraged to show off their talents in other fields like sculpting, mountaineering, painting, gardening, and electronics. Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya has provided facilities for many outdoor games like football, cricket, hockey, basketball, judo, and karate.

ADMISSION FOR CLASS 6 TO CLASS 12:

Simultala Residential School offers education from Class 6 to Class 12. Students are selected on the basis of a competitive examination conducted across the state wherein 60 boys and 60 girls will be chosen for admission to Class 6.

ABOUT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

The entrance examination will be conducted in both English and Hindi for convenience. However, the medium of instruction at Simultala Awasiya Vidyala will be in English ONLY. There will be no fee for the entrance examination.

AGE LIMIT AND OTHER CRITERIA:

1. The candidate's age must be between 10 and 12 years as on the 1st of April of the academic year.
2. The candidate must have been studying from some recognized school or must have obtained NOC from the competent authority/department of the state.
3. They should be a domicile of Bihar only.
