Shishuvan School situated at Matunga in Mumbai was established in 2001. Shishuvan is a coed day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school was initially established in 1972 as the Matunga Boarding but officially came into existence in June 2001 as the Shishuvan School. The school offers educational facilities for students from Nursery to class 10. Currently, the school hosts almost 1125 students.

The classrooms at Shishuvan School, Matunga are airy, spacious and well lit to provide students with a comfortable and engaging learning environment. The rooms are well-equipped with books and audiovisual equipment for modernistic and sophisticated teaching-learning methodologies. The infrastructure of the school is crawling with facilities that host a student-friendly surrounding and makes the process of learning fun. The management at Shishuvan School emphasises on the need for extracurriculars beyond academics to develop the students and instil more than just bookish knowledge onto them. To host these activities, the school comprises of an art and craft rooms, separate music and dance rooms, special teachers’ staff rooms for counselling work, resource rooms with games, puzzles, water play, especially for pre-primary and primary sections. The school campus also comprises of a multipurpose room used for sand play, pre-primary cycling and lunch. The seminar and auditorium are used for performances, competitions; lectures carried out by eminent persons from diverse backgrounds, meetings, film screening and presentations. Furthermore, the campus also comprises of two spacious playgrounds for outdoor sports along with a hall for gymnastics. The school administration encourages the students to participate in sports to help them lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

Shishuvan school follows the CISCE curriculum that is based on the fundamentals that learning is a shared responsibility between students, teachers and parents. Apart from following textbooks based learning, the management transfuses practical methods through remedial teaching, workshops, and various clubs for film, pottery, skating, speech and drama, yoga, reading robotics and animation/cartooning.

The registration process is as follows:

• On the school website, clicking on Login on the homepage will open another page with the option “Online Registration”. To commence the registration process, click on “Online Registration.”  
• The submission can only be proceeded with once all the required information is filled and the necessary documents attached along with the online payment of Rs.1,000/- i.e. the registration fee.
• Parents are requested to print the copy of the filled up registration form for future references.
• Correctly mention the year for which you are seeking admission, mentioning if it’s the current session or the next academic session. 
• Please fill in the details carefully and check if the information provided is correct and thoroughly verified.
