Nilgiri Hills Public School, situated at Noida, was established in 2007. It is affiliated with CBSE and managed by Chaudhary Rama Chandra Charitable Trust. NHPS Noida hosts over 1500 students from class 1 to 12. The students are then divided into four houses, following the house system - Brahmaputra, Indus, Ganges and Satluj which are supervised by house wardens and house representatives. 

The campus of NHPS is spread across two acres of sprawling land. The state-of-the-art infrastructure at Nilgiri Hills Public at Noida includes a well-stocked and spacious library consisting of books across different genres, subject libraries for physics, chemistry, biology, home science, maths and geography; a fully furnished computer lab with latest desktops, printers, projectors and internet facility available at the junior, intermediate and senior levels; bus facility where every route is accompanied by a teacher as the bus in-charge, a canteen that caters healthy snacks items during recess, counselling cell, resource centre and a medical room or the infirmary supervised by a qualified nurse. 

The extracurricular field at NHPS is divided across visual arts, performing arts, sports which constitute the weekly club activities. Initiation into a club is based on the student's academic performance and the availability of seats. Nilgiri Hills Public offers the following club activities - clay modelling, public speaking, origami, instrumental music, oratory, creative art, vocal music, multimedia, handicraft, dance, needlework, disaster management, gardening, literary club, eco-club, computers, commercial art, first aid and sports club. The sports club organises, participates and coaches for different competitive levels - inter and intraschool. Sports coaching is provided in volleyball, handball, basketball, football, chess, badminton, cricket and carrom. Further, the interested students are also inducted into the prefectorial board, a system regulated by the interact club, that constitutes of two three-tier base - interact club duties, duty prefects and house duties. The entire prefectorial board includes almost twenty prefects from various school levels. Further, few additional activities conducted at Nilgiri Public include thumb printing, earth day, a red day, educational trips, orange day, visiting parks and gardens, poem recitation, plantation amidst others.

The registration process to commence the admission at NHPS is online-based to simplify the process. The admission form can be downloaded from the school's web portal following which the completed admission form has to be emailed at the school's mailing address ([email protected]). The following documents have to be attached with the registration/admission form in the mail:

• scanned copy of the birth certificate of the candidate
• report card of the previous qualifying class
• residence proof (any recently paid bill registered by the registrar)
• admit card from class 10 board exam if applying for admission in class 11

After the mail is sent successfully, the admissions team of NHPS will contact the parents with the time, date and place for an online aptitude test. Following the same, the admissions team will mail the parents with a provisional admission confirmation slip if the candidate is granted admission. The confirmation slip has to be saved for future references.
