Description

City Public School, situated at Noida, was established in 2000 under Rama Devi Memorial Educational Society's management. The school is affiliated with CBSE and provides educational provisions from pre-nursery to class 12. The medium of instruction followed at CPS, Noida is English. It is also a co-ed day school with no on or off-campus boarding facilities available. The CPS Noida students are divided into four houses following the house system - Vyas, Gargi, Vashistha and Valmiki. 
It constitutes essential state-of-the-art facilities that are spread across the campus. Other facilities include well-lit and ventilated classrooms fitted with smart boards, laboratories for science and computer, a well-stocked spacious library, a centrally air-conditioned auditorium, expansive sports fields and other sporting facilities. Sports facilities supervised by highly trained professionals, medical aid room, or infirmary hoard health records of all the students at school and transportation facilities. The library includes magazines, journals, newspapers and novels for both - junior and senior wings besides differently designed laboratories for distinguished school levels. There is also a daycare and a playschool managed by the school on its campus.
The art education offered at CPS Noida includes Indian and western vocal and instrumental music, art & craft, dance and painting. Several programmes such as summer camps are organised to offer extra coaching in these fields under art education. City Public School also conducts art & craft exhibition every year in May. Students are also divided into several diverse clubs according to their interests - science club, mathematics club, social science club and literary clubs for Hindi and English. Additionally, the co-curricular also constitutes community projects to create awareness such as road safety, smoking, fire safety, and cleanliness. Every week, students from class 6 to 12 conduct newspaper reading for two periods besides various weekly projects on similar social issues. City Public School, Noida encourages students to be a part of an annual cultural day and sports day held annually, hosting prize distribution and cultural activities. Interhouse events such as Kho-Kho, judo and football tournaments, elocution, debate, art & craft competitions are also organised. Besides, there are educational trips to historically and culturally significant places such as factories, museums and industrial units organised alongside summer camps for various art, craft, sports, dance and music activities. 

Admission Criteria

Admission into LKG

  • The age criterion for different classes: 2+ for pre-nursery, 3+ for LKG and 4+ for UKG
  • Admission into LKG is granted after observing the prospective candidates participate in various activities as well as a discussion with the parents
  • The parents interested in admission into LKG should contact CPS Noida's office during Sept-Oct and Feb-March months. 

Admission into higher classes

  • Admission into classes above UKG is granted based on an entrance test. After securing a specific percentage in the entrance test, the candidate is selected for an interview.
  • However, for admission into class 9, students are indicted based on their academic performance and their entrance tests. 
  • For any queries regarding the admission process, students are requested to contact the office at the beginning of April.
