Maharaja Agarsain Public School, New Delhi

The Maharaja Agarsain Public School (MAPS) is a Senior Secondary School affiliated with the CBSE and the first school in North Delhi to be registered with the Cambridge Assessment International Education, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. Since its inception in 1978, the MAPS has grown leaps and bounds and now finds itself in the list of the most elite English-medium schools in Delhi. The School motto is 'Empowered Minds and Energized Souls'. The School has also won the International School Award (ISA) for the sessions 2014-17.

As already mentioned students have the option to follow either the normal CBSE curriculum or the MAPS Cambridge Pathway:

• Montessori 1 and 2, aged between 3-4 years. Classes include the Pre-school and Pre-Primary section.
• Cambridge Primary section for Classes 1st to 5th
• Cambridge Lower Secondary for Classes 6th to 8th.
• Cambridge Upper Secondary (IGCSE) for Classes 9th and 10th.

The MAPS Cambridge Wing has fully air-conditioned classes with world-class infrastructure and sports facilities at a reasonable fee. The School overall is an infrastructural marvel: It has an Indoor Stadium/auditorium with a seating capacity of over 2000, another auditorium with a capacity of 300 people, AV rooms, Library, Computer and Science labs, Smart classes for interactive learning, Fully Air-conditioned activity rooms for dancing, singing, art etc. A full-time counsellor and special educator are present at school during school hours. There is also the Maharaja Agarsain Music Academy (MAMA), which is affiliated with the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Prayagraj which facilitates the learning and ass of the students.

As far as the sports facilities are considered, the school has left no stones unturned in ensuring that the students can get the best experience. Professional coaches are hired to help the students in various sports like Tennis, Basketball, Cricket, Table-tennis, Gymnastics, taekwondo etc.

1. For Preschool, Pre-Primary (CBSE wing) and Montessori wing (Cambridge Wing): Guidelines approved by the Department of Education, plus the prescribed age has to be followed. Details about the same will be displayed on the school website by December 2020.
2. For Admission in Class 1st to 9th (CBSE Wing): Screening process is done in two phases. Firstly, an entrance test and those students who can crack it will have to undergo a personal interview.
3. For Admission in Maharaja Agarsain Public School (Cambridge Wing)- Same as above,
4. For Admission in Class 11th (CBSE Wing): Will be done based on their Class 10th Board exams result.
