City Montessori School (CMS), RDSO was established in the year 1964. It is affiliated to The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), It offers classes from pre-primary to standard XII with major streams like science, commerce and biotech with English as its medium of instruction. The school has reached new heights with the dedicated hard work and high sense of discipline under the able guidance of former Principal Mrs Swapna Mansharamani. With high standards in academic curricular, CMS focuses on overall personality development of the children by giving equal importance to games, sports and other extracurricular activities. The school also hosts events including all track and field events as well as other sports like badminton, tennis, table tennis, judo, karate, chess, etc. It also prepares its students to be the winners in every competition. This branch organizes EXSPO or "Excellence in Sports"; it is an International Sports Olympiad in which both the junior and senior level students will get the chance to participate. 

CMS RDSO also organizes WIZMIC in which students from different countries gather together to test their skills and abilities in mathematics, and they will also get an opportunity to interact with renowned mathematicians across the world. CMS has a strong academic reputation and strives to prepare its students to meet international standards.

Admission to pre-primary classes will be based on the child's ability and for higher classes, it is subject to the performance of the candidate in the previous academics and written test conducted by the school.
