CMS Admission Form 2020-2021: A Guide

City Montessori School, also known as CMS, is among the oldest and most prestigious schools in Lucknow. Throughout its 60 year history, the school has gained many laurels from a number of organizations across the globe. It is a coeducational day school that is affiliated to the Delhi based Council for the Indian School Certification Exam (CISCE) which offers ICSE for Class 10 and ISC for Class 12 and is also affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) UK, which offers the iGCSE (class 10) and A-Level (class 12) qualifications. Here are all the details on how to apply for admission to this school:

Admissions are now open for the academic session 2020-2021 at CMS Lucknow.

For ICSE/ISC:

Form Availability:

Online process: Fill online form is available at https://parents.cmsitportal.org/

Offline process: The admission forms are available at all campuses, office hours for visiting campus from 9 am to 3 pm.

Location:

You must visit the campus of the particular CMS branch you want to apply for admission at and physically collect the admission form.

You can fill the online form for the CMS Campus for which you are seeking admission at https://parents.cmsitportal.org/

Example:- If you want to apply to CMS Gomti Nagar 1, then you have to visit the CMS Gomti Nagar 1 campus and collect the admission form at the front office or you can fill the online admission form at https://parents.cmsitportal.org/

Required Documents:

You are required to attach the attested photocopies of the following documents:

For Nursery:

1. Birth Certificate of the child.
2. Income Certificate of the parents.
3. Aadhar Card of the child.(optional)
4. Proof of Address; Aadhar Card / Ration Card / Election Card / Electricity Bill.

For Other Classes:

1. Birth Certificate of child.
2. Income Certificate of the parents.
3. Aadhar Card of the child.(optional)
4. Proof of Address; Aadhar Card / Ration Card / Election Card / Electricity Bill.
5. Previous Year Report Card of the child from the last school.
6. Transfer Certificate from the last school attended by the child.

Procedure:

Step 1: Visit Campus

You must visit the campus of CMS in which you want admission for your child and collect the admission form from the front office.

Apply Online at: https://parents.cmsitportal.org/

Step 2: Fill the admission form

Carefully and accurately fill the admission form.

Step 3: Submit the filled admission form

Once you have properly filled the admission form, submit the admission form at the school office or online at the right campus of CMS along with the testedphotocopies of all the required documents.

Step 4: Registration No.

After you have submitted the admission form, the school shall assign you a registration number.

Step 5: Interview/Entrance test

For Montessori:- Once the registration number has been generated, the school will inform you about the date for the interview/entrance test of your child.

For other classes:- Once the registration number has been generated, the school will inform you about the date of the entrance exam for admission.

Tips: Use of undue influence is looked upon negatively.

For Cambridge Section:

CMS Gomti Nagar Extension offers students International Curriculum and the opportunity to sit for IGCSE and ‘A’ Levels.

The form for admission at CMS Cambridge Section is now available at the campus and online at http://parents.cmselearning.org/

Location:

The admission form can be collected from the CMS Gomti Nagar Extension branch during school hours.

Required Documents:

1. Proof of Address; Aadhar Card / Ration Card / Election Card / Electricity Bill.
2. Previous Year Report Card of the child from the last school.
3. 2 Passport size photographs of the child.
4. Transfer Certificate of the child (once the admission is confirmed)
