BSF Senior Secondary School, Paloura, Jammu was founded in 1972, with just a few handfuls of students and teachers. It is an English medium co-educational school affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

It is about 5 km away from the General Bus Stand of Jammu city. The school provides day-scholar and boarding facility (Boys only). The positive motto of the school is "From darkness to light". The classes commence from UKG to class 12th, following CBSE and NCERT books and Kendriya Vidyalaya pattern of education is followed.

The school campus is beautiful, widespread with lots of greenery. The establishment has a large cemented field for the morning Assembly. The classes are organized and well-lit.
