The Valley School was established in 1978 by a philosopher named ‘Jiddu Krishnamurti’. According to the founder, Mr Jiddu Krishnamurti “learning cannot happen where there is fear” which has inculcated an informal atmosphere in the schools, making the relationship understanding. It is a senior secondary school affiliated with ICSE(Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) board. The Valley School knows and understands that it is a place where its students learn about the totality, the wholeness of life. The school helps its students to explore not only the outer world but also the world of knowledge, their own thinking, their own behaviour. The Valley School is concerned with freedom and order in which freedom is not the expression of one’s own desire, choice or self-interest but it is inevitable that may lead to disorder and Order can only come with the insight that to choose is itself.
