The Universal School, Tardeo, Mumbai was established in 1999.

It is a secondary school that follows a small school concept, that is, the Teacher-Student ratio is 1:15. This helps in the recognition of every single child so that their needs can be catered to.

A lot of attention is given to the Academic Program. The Academic rigour of the Cambridge curriculum is well balanced with the co-curricular activities that are offered such as Shaimak Davar's Dance Academy, Furtados School of Music, Raell Padamsee's Academy of Creative Expression, Robotics Training, Self- Defense Training, Art Courses, and many other. All this together helps to make students responsible and reflective, confident, and collaborative.

It is recognized as India's first All Apple School that believes in using technology to create a powerful learning experience for students.

Each classroom is equipped with Apple TVs that stream educational content on the screen from the Teacher's for the Student's iPad for teaching, learning, and showcasing presentations.

In the early years up to grade 2, under the supervision of teachers, students have access to iPads that are issued as per their lesson plan requirements in preplanned slots.

With age-appropriate tools and apps, students learn to create a variety of content. Students use MacBooks as well as iPads from grade 3 for their learning.

A lot of course content for these grades is delivered by the devices, including text-books, subject-specific content, videos, and other resources. Students complete certain assignments on their iPad, research, and creative projects, including movies, interactive books, and web pages as a part of their course work. The School staff, leaders, and the parent community have a clear vision of how this technology-rich environment will support the student learning goals.

The entire school is under CCTV surveillance. Every academic session has a theme. The theme of the year 2020-21 is Sustainable Development Goals.

Students counselling is also provided which includes Career Guidance and Personal Counseling. 

Digital interactive learning along with participation in different Sports Activities is also encouraged. Students are trained by professional coaches of " The Sports Gurukul". 

Outdoor sports activities include Football, Lawn tennis, Basketball, and Athletics. Indoor activities include Chess, Carrom, Table-tennis, and Yoga. 

Fit-Kid Programme for early years and primary students is also a part of the curriculum based on music and fitness to promote Coordination, flexibility, balance, and rhythm.

All students must wear an E-ID card every day. Student's entry and exit in the campus as well as in the school bus are recorded electronically and parents are updated through SMS. Regular health check-ups are also conducted at the school by qualified doctors and specialists.

The admission procedure includes the following steps:

1. Enquiry: Fill up the online admission enquiry form (available on the official website). Fill in the details and submit. 

2. Meeting the Admission Officer: A meeting with the Admission Officer will be scheduled at the school campus or online through Google Meet. 

3. Application: You will receive the link of the applications. kindly fill all the information correctly, upload relevant documents and submit online.

4. Interaction: On review of the application forms, if found to be duly filled, an interactive session will be scheduled with parents and the child at the school campus or online through Google meet.

Entrance tests, if applicable, will be intimated.

5. Seat offered and payment of fees: Subject to availability of seat, the offer of admission will be intimated to you. On receipt of intimation, you will have to submit the necessary documents and pay the fees within 3 working days.

1. A recent photograph of the child & parents/guardian has to be pasted on the Application Form A. (Size: 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm as per Schengen – Europe Visa norms)

2. Photocopy of the birth certificate ( if not in English, kindly get it translated in English by an approved translator)

3. Photocopy of Child’s Aadhaar Card

4. Photocopy of Parent’s Aadhaar Card

5. Photocopy of the child’s valid passport and visa pages if the child is a foreign national.
