St. Mary's Convent Inter College , Allahabad

St. Mary's Convent Inter College is a girls school run by the sisters of the congregation of Jesus in collaboration with a lay of staff members. It was founded in the year 1866 by Mother Mary Ward with the motto of providing quality education to the girls. The school has an affiliation to the ICSE Board. The Prayagraj campus is All-Girls school whereas the campuses in the Delhi and the Lucknow are Co-Educational schools. 

The college was founded to provide an education to all sections of society regardless of the caste, creed or financial status. The institution was established and administered by the Christian Society, comes under articles of 29 and 30 of the Indian Constitution and for Religious Jurisdiction, it comes directly under the Roman Catholic Diocese of Allahabad. The institution also runs a school for underprivileged children called Asha Deep. The motto of the school is Spe Labor Levis, which means "Hope Lightens Work". The school has four houses, namely Blue, Red, Green and Yellow. The students will be selected as a House Captain for each house, respectively. 

St. Mary's Convent Inter College commits to direct the attention and resources to the education of the children from least privileged in the society, who are economically, socially, culturally deprived and victimized in various ways. The school aims to develop an awareness among the students about God's love, care and concern through which they may find meaning in life and hope for the future.
