Sacred Heart Sr Sec School , Chandigarh

Sacred Heart, Sr. Sec. School is an unaided Christian Minority institution. It was established within the year 1968. The Society aims to provide education to the youth, especially poor and abandoned children.

The task of the primary manager of Sacred Heart Chandigarh was handed over to Rev Sr. Veronica, an Italian missionary, in Dec 1967. Rev Sr. Veronica, who was also the primary principal of the varsity, led the college through all the teething problems and gave it a robust foundation. Sr. Lucy is that the present manager of the college.

It is due to the resilient leadership and therefore the indefatigable spirit of all the managers and Principals of the college till date that Sacred Heart stands firm today.

The infrastructure of the college and facilities offered to the scholars are conducive to an overall development that helps the scholars to sharpen their skills.

The Principal reserves the right to accept or refuse any girl who seeks admission to the current school.

No pupil is admitted to the current school unless her parent or guardian submits a Transfer Certificate from the college last attended by the girl duly countersigned by the education authorities of the concerned state/board for classes I to XII. Those taking admission in school IX must submit the third language clearance certificate from the previous school and also the registration card of CBSE at the time of admission.

At the time of the Registration of a pupil, their parent is required to submit at the varsity office an ATTESTED Photo Copy of the girl's credentials from the Registrar of Births, for LKG & UKG. The date of birth, certified to be correct at the time of admission won't be altered at any account.

Parents who wish to withdraw their daughter must notify the Principal in writing, of their intention a minimum of one month before the withdrawal of the pupil or fee for one month will be paid instead of the notice. Those that are leaving after the tutorial session should inform within February.
