The Rajagiri Public School at Kochi was established in 1994 by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). A unique feature of the educational institution is that it draws inspiration from Jesus Christ as well as from the sages and prophets deeply rooted in the Indian culture. Class 1-2: Karate, Paper Craft, Classical Music, Dance, Music Instruments.

Class 3-4: Karate, Roller-skating, Paper Craft, Classical Music, Dance, Bongo Drums, Organ (Class 4 only).

Class 5-6: Karate, Roller-skating, Drums, Violin, Guitar, Cookery and Needle Craft, Drama.

Class 7-8: The students will have one optional period per week.

Furthermore, the school has a FINA-standard swimming pool where regular coaching classes are held. Sports infrastructure also includes a football ground, three basketball courts, three badminton courts and numerous facilities for table tennis. As a part of the sports education and encouragement to participate in physical activities, the school organises Sports Day and several athletic-related competitions every year. Also, during the after school hours coaching is conducted for several sports activities. GUIDELINES REGARDING ADMISSION INTO RAJAGIRI PUBLIC SCHOOL

• Admission is restricted or granted by specific policies laid down by the Admission Committee according to age, ability and conduct.
• At the time of admission, the student should be present with the parent/guardian who will be responsible for the applicant's studies and conduct.

FEE REGULATIONS

• The school fees should be paid regularly before the 10th of every month. A penalty of Rs.10 is applied from the 11th of each succeeding months.
• If the school fee is not paid for two consecutive months, the student will be removed from the school list.
• School fees should be remitted at any branch of Federal Bank using the prescribed challan form issued by the school office.
• Fee remittance can also be made ONLINE. The payee will have to approach any branch of the Federal Bank for the opening forms as well as the Fednet application forms.
• Fee receipts must be retained and produced as the proof of payment, if necessary.
• Fee dues should be cleared before any student is permitted to sit for the final examination.
