Raja Rammohan Roy Academy is one of the oldest boarding schools in the Dehradun valley of Uttarakhand which was established in 1950 by the efforts of Mr Alok Chandra Deb. RRRA was initially a preparatory boarding school for boys and girls and known as Shishu Niketan and was shifted to present location n 1965and acquired the name as Raja Rammohan Roy Academy in 1978.

Affiliated to ICSE, RRRA is a day-cum-residential co-ed school (with separate hostels) up to senior secondary spread over 11 acres with all the facilities required to educate the coming generation. RRRA has the motto “We learn to Serve” and educates accordingly. RRRA has branches in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad known as the Cambridge Schools.

RRRA has well-equipped scientific labs, library, auditorium and other sports requirements. Keeping overall development in mind school organizes curricular activities such as debates, quizzes, plays and inter-house competition etc.

The school regularly engages the students in Community Services to keep-up to its motto from the heart and organizes various trips regularly for residential as well as a regular student.

• Admission to RRRA is open for classes Nursery to IX and for class XI – boarders are admitted from class 1 and upwards. The age threshold for Nursery and class 1 is three years and five years respectively as of March 31st.
