Rachana High School is a well-known school in Ahmedabad, Gujrat, and the school was founded in the year 1963 by Smt Pannaben which makes it one of the oldest and the finest schools of Ahmedabad, the school was earlier in Bombay garage before moving to Shahingbagh.

 The school is managed by Shri Satnam trust and development society. The academy is a co-ed school and offers schooling from nursery to 12th.

The school has been grown every year and is now standing majestically. A wing was added to the school in 1986, which was a play building for tiny tots in 1994. The school has a well-equipped auditorium which was added to the infrastructure, and in 2007 a resource centre was also inaugurated. 

The school has a spacious library in the junior wing, and the branch is well equipped with smart classes, audio-video classes are conducted there.

The name of the school itself suggests it's a type of curriculum; the institution's curriculum is very flexible and open to new ideas. Hence, it is not fixed by a set of traditions and beliefs true to the spirit of "Rachana" the school believes in creativity. The school's song is a Tagore's classic, which was "Where the mind is without fear', every morning the school's children sing it in the Gujrati Version.

The school was designed by a well-known architect Shri Balkrish Joshi and Shri Nikish Patel and Smt Parul Zaveri.

The school is sprawled over 1.8 acres of land, with a boasting infrastructure and world-class facilities such as dance and music rooms, healthcare facilities and IT infrastructure.

The school pays immense emphasis on extracurricular activities and sports; the school hosts inter-school competitions as well as debate, quizzes and spell-bee contests. Sports facilities include indoor games, basketball courts, volleyball court and the school also organize personality development classes for its pupil.
