Mount Carmel School , Delhi

On July 10th, 1972, twelve young students walked into the home of Flt. Lt. Vijay and Neena Williams. This day got marked as the first official working day of Mount Carmel School. This journey has taken the founders around the globe and the school into the lives of thousands of people.

Today, MCS is recognized as one of the premier educational institutions in the country, which is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of the future leaders, striving to uphold and enhance integrity, respect, discipline, hard work and a relentless journey of excellence.

The vision of this school is based on the Bible (from Luke, chapter 2, verse 52) where they envision each child growing like the Lord Jesus: in wisdom and stature, and favour with God and man. As they mature and grow into responsible citizens, they will live spiritually, serve effectively and contribute positively.

Mount Carmel has a strength of approximately 3000, comprising of classes from Nursery level to Class 12, along with a group of caring and dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching staff members.

The school is affiliated to the Council of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and is recognised by the Delhi Administration.

MCS prepares its students for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE - Class 10) and the All India Secondary School Certificate Examination (AISSCE - Class 12)

Mount Carmel School provides the best of infrastructure for its students such as the dance room, music room, indoor and outdoor sports fields, etc. for the overall development of the child. It also has an efficient health check-up centre to ensure the child's safety.

Application forms will be made available from mid-December onwards. 

students coming under the Economically Deserving Candidate - EDC are given special concession. 

Placement evaluation will be conducted between mid-February and early March. The applicants will have two days to complete the admission formalities, failing which, admission will be cancelled. 

Class 9 - Applicants only from recognised schools producing pass certificate of Class 8 and who have cleared the third language in Class 8 are eligible for the entrance test after the registration.

Class 10 - Applicants who have cleared Class 9 only from a CBSE school are eligible for the test. Once selected, they must submit a certificate of proof that they have cleared the third language in class 8. CBSE registration number and report card from the previous school should also be submitted along with other documents. 

Class 11 - Admission to Class 11 will open in the month of March. Subject streams will be allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by the applicant in the School Exam. An interview will be held in the school. A second round of interview and selection will be conducted after the declaration of the Board result. However, Admission is subject to the availability of seats.

Birth certificate or transfer certificate of the applicant must be produced at the time of admission. In case of Interstate Transfer, the Certificate must be countersigned by the education authority of the concerned state. Admission to all classes will be over by 1st April. Thereafter, subject to availability of seats, admission may be granted. late fee will be applicable up to August.
