The history of Mount Caramel school is great. It dates back to 1999 when two sisters of the organization started to contribute to society by educating the children in a small place to prepare worthy citizens of the world. The institution began with a strength of 26 students, and today, it boasts a student count of more than 3500. The teachers and the sisters of the organization worked day and night for the progressive growth of the institution to be the best institution that it is today. Their blood and sweat resulted in the auspicious day when the first building stone was laid by Reverend fr Pascal, who is the archbishop of the archdiocese, Bhopal.

The school holds various achievements and records such as “Best school award” is one of those awards presented by MP housing board for its service in the education sector.

The institution is affiliated to ICSE board and got this recognition on 14 august 2007. The school also work for the community service and works for underprivileged kids and provides them with education using “Caramel Jyoti”. They have the adage of “luminous in truth and wisdom”.

The institution is a co-educational English medium school, although importance is given to Hindi as well. The campus is sprawled over 3.56-acre area and has boasting infrastructure which includes perfectly designed spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories for physics chemistry and biology, a well-stocked library for academic support and world-class sports infrastructure. It consists of a football ground basketball court, a tennis court and a well-managed playground with swings. The students are also coached in their area of interest by expert professionals.

The school aims for the holistic development of its students and hence takes care of extracurricular activities and keep organizing events such as inter-house and school competitions, music and dance competition, art and craft competitions. The school prepares the student not only for its examinations and academics but also for the outer competitive world.

The school is managed by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel. Every candidate for admission must be introduced in person to the Principal by one who will be responsible for the child. A student coming from any other school will have to appear for an entrance examination in the main subjects.
