Manav Sthali School, New Delhi

The Manav Sthali School (MSS) was established in the year 1957 by Dr V.K. Bhatnagar. It is a Senior Secondary School that is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and also the International Primary Curriculum (U.K.) and is situated in a flourishing 3.178 acres campus in New Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi.

Mrs Mamta V. Bhatnagar is the Founder-Principal and Chairperson of MSS, who has served the school ever since its inception. She is a true educationist who has won various accolades both nationally as well as internationally. Genio, the Kung Fu Panda, is the official mascot of the school.

The MSS puts a lot of effort into the academics section. Meritorious students are given scholarships to acknowledge their academic ability. The MSS houses faculty members who are not only hardworking but experienced as well. The school always tries to bring out the best in their teachers who have always impressed with excellent results for innumerable years. Various elective/optional subjects for Class 11th and 12th students (which are quite rare to see in other Delhi schools) like German, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology are also available.

Apart from academics, students are actively encouraged to take part in various extracurricular activities. Students in Primary & Middle school are involved in various Art and Craft activities (especially the ones utilizing waste material), Painting, Dramatics, Music/Dance, Horse riding, Yoga, Table tennis and also skating. The school provides various facilities for all the earlier-mentioned extracurricular activities. Another interesting fact is that the School Anthem was composed by students of Class 8th (2013 batch).

The alumni of MSS are referred to as Manav Sthalians. Notable alumni include Bollywood actors like Gracy Singh, Pulkit Samrat, Pavan Malhotra, Lehar Khan among others. Vikram Bhatnagar (Silver Medalist in the 2006 CWG) and Saransh Goila (Winner of the Food Food Maha Challenge and the founder of popular Mumbai-based restaurant Goila Butter Chicken) have also been a part of MSS.

There are two online registration forms available on the School website: One for CBSE board and the other for International Primary Curriculum (UK). After submitting the registration form, the candidates will be screened based on marks obtained in their previous class/marks obtained in the Class 10th Board Exams for students who wish to take part in Class 11th. A personal interview will follow this.
