G. Pulla Reddy High School, located at Mehdipatnam, was established in 1983. The co-ed day school is managed by the Gunnampalli Pulla Reddy Charities Trust which was founded by the late Sri G. Pulla Reddy, an eminent entrepreneur. The school is affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, and offers provisions from nursery to class 10. The medium of instruction at GPRM is English. Currently, the school hosts over 24 non-teaching and 66 teaching faculty members.

The curriculum at GPRHS is solely based on CBSE guidelines. Along with subjects such as mathematics, science, language, computer, the school has also introduced music, craft and dance as a part of the curriculum. GPRHS also boasts of sporting facilities that comprise basketball and volleyball courts, extensive fields for cricket and football, an indoor sports room where table tennis, chess and carrom is played. The students can partake in several games as per their interests. 

Within the extracurricular field, GPRHS offers club activities beyond the usual sports and arts activities. The club activities offered are - the cultural club, educational club, discipline club, health & hygiene club, social & community club, math club and eco-club. 

The admission process at GPRHS, Mehdipatnam is as follows according to the class level:

Nursery to class 2 - admission is granted on a first-come-first-serve basis where the minimum age is two years and six months.

Class 3 to 5 - Written test on general knowledge

Class 6 onwards - Written test on mathematics, science and language
