D.C.Model Senior Secondary School, Faridabad

The D.C. Model Senior Secondary School is an English medium co-educational senior secondary school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was established in 1947 by the late Shri M.R. Dass. The school nurtures and prepares its pupils for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for Class 10th and 12th respectively.

The school has a multi-faceted curriculum. The management tries to take care of the physical, mental, social and emotional needs of the student. The school lays heavy emphasis on academics. The faculty is experienced and competent, and the classrooms have been transformed into digital classrooms. During the ongoing CoVid-19 pandemic, online classes are being conducted regularly. Cultural events, PTA meetings are also being held online. For imparting practical knowledge, there are specialized laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and computers. The school also houses a spacious and well-stocked library with a wide array of books, journals, periodicals, reference books etc.

The school actively encourages its students to participate in Extracurricular activities, where the students get a chance to portray their skills and talent in the field of singing, dancing, elocution, debates, symposiums etc. 

The sports department is an integral part of the school curriculum. The school feels that sports are essential for the all-round development of a child. There are dedicated facilities for cricket, football, basketball etc. with specialized coaches.
