D.A.V. Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, New Delhi

The DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave was founded in 1989 by Shri Darbari Lal Ji, in a small Kothi (bungalow) with a batch of around 400 students and a handful of teachers. With time, the school started to flourish, and it now has over 4000 students with about 200 staff members, under the leadership of Principal Rashmi Raj Biswal. The school campus sprawls over an area of approximately 3.5 acres and houses a separate wing for the students of Kindergarten (KG). The classes range from lower KG to class 12th and have an affiliation to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The school has a well-developed curriculum in which learning is not only about gaining theoretical textbook knowledge but also about the various practical aspects of a subject. Around 90 spacious and well-lit classrooms have been remodelled into e-Patshalas which are endowed with Digital smart boards. There are subject laboratories having top-notch apparatus/materials for physics, chemistry, mathematics, geography, psychology labs etc. There is also the presence of a computer lab on each floor. For meetings, seminars, delegations, here is a separate conference room. A computerized library comprising of a wide array of books is also present in the school building.

The extracurricular activities conducted in the school include excursions, talent shows, community outreach programmes for social causes, various other competitions related to the field of arts, music, dance and debates/symposiums.

Facilities provided by the school include- extra-care of children with special needs (counselling), an active learning centre, an enormous playground, a medical room (in which a nurse is present all the time during school hours), art and craft zones, field trips etc.

Guidelines for Pre School/Nursery Admission 

Registration and submission of application will be made online through the school’s website www.davpushpanjali.com. 

The age criteria for Preschool is three years as on 31st March of the year. 

A printed copy of the submitted form along with Bank Demand Draft of Rs. 25/- as registration fee (non-refundable) together with self-attested copy of the DOB certificate of the child issued by MCD. 

Process:

• Fill up the form completely. 
• Charges once paid are not refundable. 
• Click on submit to complete the online process. The parent will receive a registration number on successful submission. 
• Take a print out of confirmation page. 
• The print out of the online form along with the photograph and a draft attached with the details of the student mentioned at the backside is to be submitted at the school. Incomplete forms are not acceptable.
• The school will only accept the bank draft will be accepted. 
• The parent can accept the online receipt after verification of forms at the school. 
• Use only self-attested photocopy of the certificate.
• The parent should refer to their own brother/sister in case of siblings. 
• Email address, details of Draft, child’s name, father’s name and form number and mobile numbers are mandatory to be filled in. 

Documents required 

• Date of Birth Certificate of the child issued by MCD. 
• Proof of Residence (Voter I- Card/ Aadhar Card/Passport/ Electricity Bill/ Driving License)
• Proof of Alumni-school leaving certificate/Sr. Sec./Secondary Board Certificate 
• Proof of Sibling(if applicable)
• If one of the ‘Twin Children’ gets selected, then the school would consider the other twin automatically under Sibling Category. 
• Proof of Girl Child or first Male Child – Undertaking by the parent
