The Central India Public School (CIPS), Kapsi Road is a Senior-senior school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It is a top-notch English medium school. It was established in 2003 by Mr Pravin Tiwari in a sprawling campus of approximately 3 acres. In the year of 2005, another branch was opened at Kamptee. The Kamptee Branch is a senior-secondary School. The combined strength of both schools is around 2500. 

CIPS has always focused on developing a multi-disciplinary curriculum for the students. The faculty are qualified and have a lot of experience. There are in total 35 classrooms out of which 13 are smart classes. There are subject laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, computers (with around 40 Personal computers), mathematics, geography, home-science and also a biotechnology lab. A spacious and well-stocked library with approximately 5000 books is also present.

The school actively encourages its students to take part in extracurricular activities and sports. The school has a cricket pitch, basketball court, a large playing field etc. The school has hired specialized coaches who can provide the correct guidance to students. Various cultural events take place throughout the year in which students get a chance to showcase their talent in the field of singing, dancing, elocution, debates/symposiums etc.

The school has 40 separate toilets each for boys and girls, plus 13 toilets for the staff members. The school has taken care of its Differently-abled students by building ramps in various parts of the school. The school also has an elevator/lift. CIPS management has hired five buses as a part of its transportation system. A Bus in charge is allotted for each bus, and they are responsible for ensuring the safe commute of children.

Process:

• Admission to 1st to Std 12th: By evaluation on an aptitude test.
• The registration fee is neither transferable nor refundable. Also, the registration does not guarantee admission.
• The aptitude tests will be for English, Hindi, EVS and mathematics.
• The school will not consider any correspondence from the candidate's side on the performance in the written test. Principal's decision will be final and binding.
