K. M. Munshi founded Bhavan Vidhyalaya on 17th July 1983, a political and social activist. This school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). While looking back at the history of its foundation, it’s founder K. M. Munshi was a freedom fighter, student of Aurobindo Gosh, was highly influenced by M. K. Gandhi. He had a great ambition to preserve Indian culture, and it’s a heritage for future generations. This was his basic motive behind his foundation of this Bhavan Vidhyalaya school in Chandigarh. This institution has now grown up into a big network across India with 373 branches in 123 locations.

The foremost aim is to create awareness among the people regarding the richness of Indian culture, languages, traditions, religious faith and its unity. The students are developed with all the basic qualities like honesty, patience, patriotism, servicing tendency, morality, ethical values and spiritual values. Students of Bhavan Vidhyalaya School regularly achieve great heights and top ranks in the CBSE examinations.

This school has two wings, Junior and Senior school. The Junior school has Pre-nursery to class 5, and the senior school has classes from 6th to 12th. Each wing has different Principals. To cultivate unity in the mind of students, many clubs like IT club, eco-club, interact club, cycling club and book club. This school has spacious classrooms, airy corridor and bright campus. Smart classes are also installed to make learning interesting and easier. A big library is there where students can read a lot, and a big playground is also there where many games are played for the physical fitness of the students.
