Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) situated at Jubilee Hills at Hyderabad was established in 1979. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is managed by B V Bhavan and affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The medium of instruction at BVB is English. The institute is a day school and co-educational. 

In means of facilities, the school is crawling with extensive infrastructure to ensure an interactive and holistic learning system. These facilities include:

• A state-of-art Computer zone - includes LCD, Projector and a CD Writer. IT education is given big priority to both teachers and students are exposed to the same. The entire teaching faculty is trained to conduct classes through computers.
• The Audio-Visual room has well-equipped with OHP, TV, video player and cassettes on a wide range of topics.
• The canteen has a wide variety of hygienically prepared hot and nutritious food can be bought at a reasonable price.
• The school library - well-stocked with a variety of audio-visual aids to make the teaching-learning process more student-friendly.

Additionally, beyond academics, BVB offers numerous extracurriculars in the form of sports and other outdoor activities. Localised and outstation excursions are organised yearly for all classes for educational as well as leisure purposes. Sports such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball and table tennis; trekking, skating and many more physical activities are part of extracurriculars. The school has a vast playground to conduct the same. Matches are held almost monthly between the six houses at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan who compete enthusiastically in athletics as well. Students are encouraged to participate in march pasts and display drills that are part of the ceremonial parades conducted during national festivals.

Performing arts like drama, music, arts, and crafts are offered to facilitate the curriculum as integrate so that education is more than just bookish knowledge. Therefore, spiritual activities like yoga and meditation are also included in extracurriculars. 

Moreover, BVB also hosts an experienced doctor and regular medical check-up facility. The doctor visits the hostel almost twice every week. Students are also expected to enrol themselves as part of the Health Insurance Scheme.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION

• The application form can be downloaded from the school website between prescribed dates. 
• The duly filled and verified application form has to be submitted at the school office along with supported photocopies of the below-mentioned documents.
• The above submission has to be done along with the payment of registration fee amounting 500/- in cash. 
• Please note: After the prescribed date, the application form will not be available online or at the school office. 
• Only one application form should be submitted on behalf of the applicant. If there is more than one submission, all the application forms will be dismissed.
• Original documents have to be brought along for verification.
• The date of birth certificate is necessary marked by Municipal authorities by their official stamp. If not produced, the registration will be dismissed.
• Recommendation of any form will lead to disqualification.
• Incorrect information will lead to the dismissal of the application.
• Both parents should sign the application form.
• Recent passport size photographs should be used, which are not more than a month old.

• Photocopy of applicant's Birth Certificate
• Photocopy of residence proof
• Copy of Membership proof, if the parents are permanent members of Jubilee Hills.
• Photocopy of parents' school reports or transfer certificate to prove they are alumni of BVB
• Photocopy of a bonafide certificate, if sibling studies at BVB.
• Photocopy/Scanned copy of applicant's Aadhar card
