Barnes School and College, Devlali, Nashik is one of the best co-ed day cum residential school. It is affiliated to Indian Council for Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school was established in 1925 by George Barnes, it is managed and promoted by Bombay Education Society which is the second oldest education society across the country. It imparts education from pre-nursery to class 12.

The school works on the adage of ‘’Acceoti Robore Surgam”, which means I shall rise with all the strength received. The mission of the school is to help every student to be college-ready. It aims to mould students to be creative thinkers, life long learners and responsible individuals.

The school is sprawled over 265 acres of land. It is against the background of sahydarus and its between Indian force bases and Indian army. The school hosts well-equipped labs for physics, chemistry and biology, media centre, spacious classroom equipped with IT facilities. A school cafeteria that serves a variety of food prepared under hygienic conditions is a chitchat spot for students—a 24-hour medical infirmary with a well-practised doctor. There is a separate infirmary for boys and girls.

Sports infrastructure includes a vast playground with a no. of options available in indoor and outdoor games.

The class strength is not more than 35 in every class to give special attention to students; the school also has a caching option for IITJEE/NEET/AIEE/CET. Every year the no. of students clearing the exam increases.

Extracurricular activities include music, dramatics, fine arts and the students are encouraged to show their talents. The school has various literary activities like dramatics, debates, singing, interact club and elocution. Apart from academics, the school takes care of counselling sessions for the students to cope up with modern-day anxiety.
