Ascent Public School located in Ghatampur, Kanpur, founded way back in 2010, is an English medium Day School which imparts education irrespective of the gender of the students. The school is co-educational and follows a strict CBSE curriculum. The motto of the school is "Tamso Maa Jyotirgmay" which primarily aims to instil ethics and moral values in the students. Apart from providing academic excellence based on the Montessori system of teaching with local adjustment. The school also aims to ensure the holistic development of students so that each one of them grows up to be an individual with integrity. The organization also looks after the mental health of the students, thereby shaping them into independent, strong-minded individuals.
The school offers various other facilities such as music rooms, dance rooms, several indoor sports, swimming pools, a serene and pollution-free environment, hi-tech infrastructure, computer labs, a playground, well-equipped Biology, Physics and Chemistry labs and even transport facility.
Ascent Public School, however, does not offer a hostel facility. This school does not have any provisions for residential scholars as well. The teachers, along with the other staff of the school, sincerely work together to provide quality education to the children.

The school registers the names of students for admission to L.K.G, U.K.G and from class I to XII. Candidates need to qualify a written test based on the syllabus provided at the time of registration. Selected candidates are then called for an interview. Finally, qualified candidate lists are displayed on the School Notice Board in February and March.
