Air Force Bal Bharati School (AFBBS), established in 1955, is situated at Lodhi Road in New Delhi. The co-educational day-cum-residential school is managed and run by the Indian Air Force (IAF) Educational and Cultural Society. AFBBS, Lodhi Road is affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, and offers education from nursery to senior secondary level i.e., class 10. 

The campus of Air Force Bal Bharati School, Lodhi Road is located across a sprawling and lush green land. The essential facilities at AFBBS offered to students as a way to smoothen the teaching-learning process comprises a multi-functional hall and a well-equipped mini auditorium where functions are held, a spacious and well-stocked library for junior and senior blocks, well-kept infirmary or sickbay that is run by a qualified nurse and full-time doctor, a hygienic cafeteria for students and faculty members, well-equipped biotech lab that hosts apparatus for class 11 & 12 students, two biology labs equipped with chemicals, glass apparatus, slides & specimens; one chemistry lab, maths lab, computer lab equipped with an interactive board, projector and computers at the junior as well as senior levels, and a modernistic audio-visual room that consists of TV facilities, LCD projectors, and other gadgets.

Besides these facilities, the school also hosts a music & art block and a sports complex for extracurriculars. The sports complex at AFBBS facilitates the need for physical activities by conducting a minimum of two-four physical education classes every week. Furthermore, under the supervision of the sports complex, the school also offers additional coaching in cricket, football, tennis, gymnastics, and basketball. The hostel facility at AFBBS, Lodhi Road comprises a girls hostel built to accommodate over 37 girls. The hostel offers a friendly environment along with proper study space, personal attention to each student, well-balanced food, and recreational facilities regularly. 

Air Force Bal Bharati School at Lodhi Road in New Delhi has been acknowledged as the third best school in Central Delhi by the Times School Survey 2020. 

As the admission process commences, the parents are requested to collect the admission forms from the school's reception or download the form online. The last date of submitting the completed forms is generally around the first week of March.

Under the open seat criteria, the details and marks (per point system) will be awarded to each applicant following which the first list of candidates will be uploaded. The parents are then open to resolving their queries through verbal/written/mail interaction regarding the points allocated. The second list of the selected candidates will then be displayed followed by the resolution of queries and the subsequent list of admission (if any). By the last week of March, the admission process will be closed.
