Air Fce Golden Jubilee Institute , Delhi

Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute (AFGJI) is a co-ed day school. It was founded in 1985 and is affiliated to the Central Board of the educational activity (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was initially set up to offer quality education to differently-abled children. Later, it was upgraded to an integrated associate establishment 

The school includes a primary wing (KG to class 5), a senior wing (level 6 to 12), and a special wing for the students with special needs. It boasts an integrated associate cluster of 2200 students and a hundred and twenty otherwise abled students. AFGJI's primary aim is to cater to the academic desires of Air Force Personnel's children and priority for admission is given to them. However, some seats are available for admission of the Non-Air Force (NAF) category children. The school is a member of the National Progressive faculty Conference. It is also conjointly a member of the Indian Public college's Conference (IPSC).

Campus

The school has a 15-acre campus with blocks for the senior and junior wings. The school has labs equipped with the newest scientific instruments and a computerized library that includes a set of quite 1600 books on all subjects. The sports infrastructure includes a court, hockey field, soccer, and facilities for various indoor games like table games, chess, and carom. The school conjointly hosts a bank, canteen, and a medical hospital.

Academics

The school follows the CBSE syllabus. Individual attention is given to special kids, and their progress is monitored through a personalized education set up. The tutorial program includes reading/writing easy arithmetic of primary level, environmental awareness, and residential management program.

The Integrated Program includes drawing, music, dance, art and craft, visits from eminent persons and physical training. It also celebrates occasions like Christmas, Diwali, annual day and sports day. Vocational training is also provided to the outstanding students.

The entry-level is from UKG, for which registration takes place in January. The minimum age for admission to UKG is 4 + as of 31st March of the year of admission.

Admissions into classes 1 to 10 (NAF category) are subject to seats, and registration occurs in March/April. There is no admission test conducted till class 8. For classes 9 and 10, admissions are made based on an Entrance Test and completion of other formalities.
