Activity High School, Mumbai

Activity High School (AHS), situated in Mumbai, is an offshoot of the New Activity School founded by the well-known educationist, Mrs Dolat Doongaji. It was established in 1953 and is managed by Piroja Vasunia Education Trust. Activity High School was founded as a preschool based on the Montessori Method of teaching, but gradually, it became a full-fledged institution affiliated with the ICSE, New Delhi in 1968.

Activity High School has a vast and sprawling campus infrastructure with fascinating facilities to propagate hassle-free education to its students. It comprises of a yoga and meditation centre to help calm the students and a parent-teacher association centre where both discuss the student's progress and dwell upon finding a solution to the problems their ward might be facing. Additionally, the school includes an art room, a cafeteria, a dance room, a well-stocked library with a vast number of books and a music room.

The curriculum emphasises on integral education, which is a philosophical as well as a practical form of educating the students. The main aim stands to develop a child naturally in a friendly, open and safe environment. An additional emphasis is also given to building the students' strong foundation, which helps them become a leader of tomorrow. The school also conducts a remedial counselling service to help and guide children to deal with pressure and stress.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

• The first step to commence the admission procedure is the successful completion of the E-Enrolment Form at the provided link.
• After successful completion of the form, the school will formally invite the selected parents, via email, to attend the Orientation programme.
• Note that following the Orientation programme is compulsory to learn more about the school as well as qualify for a formal meeting with the Principal.
• On successful presence at the Orientation programme, the school shall again send an invite via email to the selected parents to meet the Principal.
• Both the parents should be present with their ward, for the meeting with the Principal as it is a pre-condition to qualify for admission.
• Lastly, after a successful meeting with the Principal, the school will be contacting the selected parents to complete the relative admission formalities.
