Description

St. Patrick's Junior College, was established in 1842 by the Jesus and Mary Educational Society, Agra. It has an affiliation to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school offers education from Kindergarten through class XII. 

As a Christian Minority Institution, it aims primarily at the education of the Catholic community and the preservation of the Catholic faith and religious practices. Preference in admission to the school will be given to Catholic children. Admission will, however, be open to children of other communities without distinction of caste or creed.

Aim

The primary aim of the teaching Faculty of St. Patrick's is to make God known and loved. Therefore the spiritual development of all the pupils is their prime concern.

The development and strengthening of the spiritual base of the child, the teachers, direct their efforts to the establishment of a healthy social order. By education and social action, they help the children to grow. The institution, therefore, aims at promoting the entire development of the student, concerning her adjustment to environment and personal growth.

The institution provides facilities including library, chemistry lab, computer lab, physics lab, music room, auditorium, assembly ground, basketball court and canteen. 

Admission Criteria

Preference in admission is given to Catholic children; however, it is open to children of other communities without distinction of caste or creed. Application for admission to all the classes should be made to the Principal of the College.

The candidate who applies for admission to class 1 - 11 must pass the competitive test. They will be tested in the standard below the one to why they seek admission.

  • Birth Certificate or a Baptism Certificate (in original) in support of the Date of Birth. 
  • Inspector of Schools of that State must countersign the Transfer Certificate of candidates coming from States other than U. P.
