St. Angela Sophia Senior Secondary school, Jaipur is one of the best girls school in Rajasthan. The school has an affiliation to CBSE board and was established initially as a boarding house for Christian orphans. It is named after St. Angela of Merici.

The orphanage was shifted on Feb 25, 1926, as a school and the first student was admitted in 1928. The school welcomes children of all castes, creeds and religion.

St. Angela Sophia is managed by sisters of Ajmer. She is under the jurisdiction of Roman catholic diocesan education society, Ajmer. The school received its affiliation from CBSE in 1996. 

A huge landmark was created in the history of Sophia School when class 11th was started in the school in July 1970, and class XII was started in 1970 in July. The school sprawls over 2.249 acres featuring a library with 4000 books, for academic support, an auditorium for organising various functions is also in the campus. The campus hosts well-equipped labs for computer, physics, chemistry and biology, dance and music rooms and a medical infirmary in case of any emergency. The school also makes emphasis on sports and has a playground measure 1000 sq meters.  Besides academics, the school takes care of co-curricular activities. It has clubs such as English club, Hindi club, mathematics club, dance club, yoga club, sports club, health and wellness clubs.
