Sophia Senior Secondary School was first established in the year 1919. Earlier Sophia Senior Secondary School was a Co-educational school, but later it converted into a Girls school completely. It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school was managed by The Mission Sisters of Ajmer who belongs to a religious group. Sophia Senior Secondary School was converted to a complete girls school to provide girls with refined education and to help them become self-confident and self-dependent. The girls of Sophia Senior Secondary School are guided under a bunch of good and educated teachers and Sisters. Doors of the school are always open for all types of girls without any discrimination based on caste, colour, creed or race. Sophia Senior Secondary School always welcomes every single girl with respect and generosity. 

Rt Revenue Bishop Fortunature Henry Canumount founded this school, and the first principal of Sophia School was Mother Marry Matilda. They both are real siblings, and they have come from France to establish Sophia senior secondary School, Ajmer. 

VACHAN is the motto of Sophia Senior Secondary School. The main aim and the main motive of this motto VACHAN is to give Wisdom to little ones. 

CAMPUS: Sophia Senior Secondary School is constructed on 2.50 Acres of Land, which is really a big landscape. It comprises of 2 playgrounds which are huge and heavenly in size. They also have a wonderful and spacious parking area for at least 1200 scooties.
