Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls Delhi was established in 1987 and is situated in Shantiniketan on 2.5 acres of land. It is one of the many educational institutions which the Sadhu Vaswani Mission started all over India and abroad. It is a progressive school based on Indian thoughts, cultures, traditions and the educational ideals of Sadhu Vaswani.
The school is an architectural and infrastructural marvel where classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated. Well-equipped Laboratories, Digital Maths Laboratory, Multi-Media Lab, Computerised Interactive Class Rooms, Science Park, Library, Sanctuary Hall, Auditorium, Music and Dance Rooms, Art-craft room and Activity room are some of the wide arrays of facilities provided by the School. It promotes an all-round growth of the students by providing an ambience for both scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
The Institute is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE) under the 10+ 2 scheme of examination. It prepares its students for All India secondary school examinations in case of class 10th and All India senior secondary school examinations in the case of class 12th. The school offers various activities to excel in all spheres of life. Aerobics, astronomy and chess are some of these. It also offers several scholarships to the deserving candidates who perform well in studies. • Admission to be administered at two levels:

     a) Entry Level i.e. Pre School

     b) Classes Pre Primary to XII

• Admission is open to only girl candidates.
•  Vacancies to be filled in, to make not more than 40 students per class.
• 25% of total seats to be reserved for Economical Weaker Section, Disadvantage group and Children with Special needs (CWSN)
• Guidelines issued by Directorate of Education, NCT, Delhi every year for entry-level admission are followed :

(a) Pre School

(i) 75% of the total seats available are filled on the basis of merit {calculated on the basis of final score obtained as per the admission criteria}

(ii) 25% of the total seats available are filled by EWS, Disadvantage group & children with special needs (CWSN) as per SVS/ADM/DOC/03 based on distance criteria issued by Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. 

(b) Pre Primary to VIII

First come first serve basis/ per RTE rules in General category (In case a vacancy arises).

(c) Classes IX-XII

GeneralCategory: On the basis of marks obtained in written test and the interview which is conducted after the written test. (In case a vacancy arises).

EWS: As per instructions of DOE
