Loyola High School at Pune follows the rich legacy of the "society of Jesus" founded in 1540. A pioneer at unique education deliverance, the institute is affiliated with SSC and HSC - State boards. Also known as Loyola High School and Junior College, it is an English medium all-boys day-cum-residential school established in 1961. The Poona Jesuits Schools Society manages it. Recognised by the Govt. of Maharashtra, the school offers education till senior secondary (Class 12). It is a part of a global network of schools and colleges. Providing priority to the Christian minority, the school's objective is to furnish students to excel in the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) held for Class 10 as well as Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) held for Class 12.

Essential Guidelines for the admission procedure:

• Admissions are based on the decisions delegated by the committee of the school.
• The decision of the administration is final and binding.
• As there are only limited vacancies available, there is no guarantee for your child’s admission.
• Please avoid providing recommendations or requesting admission for rejected applications.
• Both the parents of candidates must be available whenever the school contacts them.

Regarding the admission procedure (& required documents):

• An incomplete and unverified form will be rejected.
• No phone calls regarding the admission are to be made to the school office.
• Bring along the original Birth Certificate at the time of submission of the registration form.
• Also, attach a proof (copy of school transfer certificate/ S.S.C./H.S.C.mark sheet) if the father is an alumnus of the school.
• Pay the admission fee of Rs 600/- through DD in the name of “Loyola Primary School”.
• Attach a photocopy of your most recent MSEB/BSNL/Electricity bill or Aadhar card for residential proof.
• Attach a copy of parents’ Income certificate (as per RTE specifications)
• Only candidates who live within 5 km of the school are allowed to apply for admission.
• The original caste certificate in case of ST/SC/OBC, if applicable, should be shown to the office. At the same time, photocopy of the same should be submitted along with the registration form.
• Two passport size photographs of the candidate are required (one photograph each should be attached on the copy of the Admit card)
• Parents must accompany their son for the verification of the documents, as mentioned above.
• Besides a mandatory Baptismal Certificate, Catholics/Protestants must also get a letter from their pastor regarding the church membership.
• Preference is given to sons of alumni and to those who have siblings in the school provided they have submitted a proof.

If the parents are unable to pay the admission/school fees by the prescribed date, or if any of the admission procedures are incomplete, the candidate will be disqualified.
