Birla Vidya Mandir is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education and was founded in 1947 to provide holistic education to its students. It is an all-boys school which uses English as it's medium of instruction. The aim of BVM is to supply the best of knowledge to the students and made them good learners and great explorers. The central concept of BVM is that Education is the most important instrument for our culture, society and values from generation to the generation gap. It believes that school is not only a place which taught us Education, but a school is a place which also led us about our culture, beliefs, loyalty, honesty, values, manners and national integrity. The primary concept of this school is to feed students with all these fundamental ethics and not just knowledge and Education.

BVM is constructed on a land of 72 Acres. It has large and spacious classrooms, and the environment is peaceful and develops interest among the students to pay more attention in class. BVM is equipped with computer, physics, chemistry and biology labs, a playground, an auditorium, Olympic size swimming pool, skating rink, gymnasium, library, medical health check-up and a dispensary. It also offers canteen and catering services which provide nutritious, fat-free and complete vegetarian meals which are consulted by a dietician.

BVM also focuses on co-curricular activities as it helps in personality development and creative thinking of students. It gives a chance to every boy to participate in as many activities as they can because academics help in self-growth, and it led students to show their potential and worth. Co-curricular activities held by BVM are painting, music, photography, hiking, astronomy, generalism, computer, gym and carpentry. Educational tours are organised every year to showing the cultural and historical importance of the world.
