Origin

One of the early ‘thought’ for quality education in pre-independence India took place in the year 1939. This was when the ‘Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education Society’ laid its very first foundation. Thus, it came to be an institute for quality education across the nation for the Indians. These institutes had classes from pre-primary to K-12. The founders strongly believed that it was education itself which is the single most tool for self-empowerment. The Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur was established in the year 1974. The then Indian Prime Minister, Late Smt Indira Gandhi laid the foundation stone and Dr Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, the then President of India inaugurated it.

The main motive of the school was to ensure quality education that bought about the best in the youth of the country. The institute, from its foundation years, has worked relentlessly to bring about balance in Academics, Creativity, Co-curricular activities, Physical activities, Good behaviour and contribution to the community.

Also, exclusive is the computer facility for the teachers for related research and work.

Computer Lab

The institute comprises of two distinct labs; the Senior Computer lab and the Junior Computer lab. With a maximum capacity of 100 and a minimum of 25, the labs are network connected. A Software expert assistant is available at all times to be able to operate the software and hardware as and when required. These facilities are also used for trainings, seminars and workshops at the institute.

Music Center

Well-equipped with four separate rooms and a common hall, the Music Center is a place of inspiration.
