Strawberry Fields High School , Chandigarh

Strawberry Fields High School was established in the year 2004 and is being run by the Durga Das Foundation which is named after the revolutionary freedom fighter and former, the late Mr Durga Das Khanna. SFHS is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) International Baccalaureate (IB), offering education to classes from Kindergarten to 12th standard with the major streams like Physics, Commerce and Humanities.

At SFHS, the children are recognized for their innate skills and abilities, which are enhanced during their stay at school through various co-curricular activities. Learning is a joyful process of discovery at Strawberry Fields, where both the academic skills and life skills are stimulated and explained at equal importance. The teachers at Strawberry Fields strives to ensure the overall development of the students intellectually, empathetically, morally, physically and socially.

Facilities and Activities :

The campus is spread over a 5-acre plot of land and facilitates spacious and air-conditioned classrooms. The sports facilities include a soccer field, tennis courts, cricket nets, basketball court and a swimming pool. Offers facilities for other activities lie drama, music and dance, art and craft, photography and calligraphy, literary and quizzing.

The registration form can be downloaded from the school website or collected from the school office. The duly filled form along with the mentioned documents, must be submitted in the office.

Admission will be granted considering the availability of seats and following preference of criteria :

• Students whose siblings are studying at Strawberry Fields High School or Strawberry Fields, Sector 24, Chandigarh.
• Children studying in Lower KG at Strawberry Fields, Sector 24, Chandigarh.
• 25% of seats in KG are reserved for students from economically weaker sections (EWS) of society residing in the Union Territory of Chandigarh (eligibility for admission is mentioned on the registration form).
