Spring Dale Senior School, Amritsar

Spring Dale Senior School, Amritsar, was founded in 1981 by Mr Surinder Singh Sandhu. It is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school boasts 283 faculty members and 4056 students from class 1 to 12. Their vision is to provide a willingness to see the common threads that run through lives when they graduate.

Campus

The 4.7-acre school campus hosts a well-stocked library, futuristic ICT computer labs, three AV labs, a robotics lab, a mathematics lab, a space lab, a Science Park. Its spacious classrooms are equipped with interactive boards, computers and LCD projectors, medical infirmary, dance rooms, and music rooms. The school also offers a swimming pool, gymnasium, shooting range, rock climbing, judo, yoga, and indoor games facility for table tennis, badminton, and chess.

Academics

The school following the CBSE curriculum integrates the principle of Multiple Intelligences into its curriculum. Its Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and Alternate Evaluation System keep children of diverse abilities in a learning mode. Spring Dales Senior Schoo also follows the 'Emergent Curriculum' policy and aims to offer continuous guidance to its students by providing various life skills and counselling programs that encompass individual counselling. The school’s admission period runs from April first week to August first week. However, admission is subject to the availability of seats in each grade. Parents of selected children are expected to confirm their acceptance of admission within the stipulated time on the admission list declaration.
