Ruchika High School , Khorda

In 1978, Mrs Inderjit Khurana fired by the desire to create an educational platform for the Toddlers, started a small Garage School to give shape to her dream. 

Ruchika believes that each child enrolled in our care is a SACRED TRUST, in which the inherent talent and potential that each child possesses are to be nurtured to it’s fullest. In the discharge of that trust, we shall endeavour to Develop a faculty of teachers/mentors qualified, committed and united in a common quest to bring forth the natural talents of each child, give it direction for its full flowering and engender in each child a sense of responsibility to its peers in the school and the disadvantaged outside; Provide an environment, physical and intellectual, second to none, which will facilitate the learning process and encourage the questioning spirit of the children; Engender healthy competitive spirit and teamwork through sports activities; Create opportunities for peer-group joint working; Provide opportunities for self-expression/creative pursuits; Give the school a global perspective by giving students diverse learning opportunities; Make the child technologically enabled with a sense of responsibility towards the environment; Focus on the overall development of the child and use the best pedagogical practices to create global citizens.

Admissions are offered in Pre Nursery as the Primary Entry level. Admission to other classes is subject to the availability of seats. The lower age limit for admission in the School is 2½ on 1st April of the year of joining the School in Pre Nursery. Similarly, correlation of age and class to which admission is sought is an essential requirement.

Though the school does not take an entry exam as the basis for admission but as an evaluation of the childs capability to handle the studies of the class and where the child needs attention.

The School fully reserves the right of Admission and its decision in the matter is final and binding and cannot be questioned.
