Puran Chandra Vidyaniketan, Kanpur was found in 1991. The school is a co-ed day school affiliated to CBSE board. PVCN provides education from Nursery to class 12 and boasts a student count of more than 2000 students. The campus is located on a 6-acre land. It has well-designed and spacious classrooms, a multi-purpose auditorium to organize various events like literary, cultural and art and craft events, a music and dance room, a well-stocked library for academic support well-equipped labs for physics, chemistry and biology for senior classes and well-equipped computer labs for both primary and senior classes. Pre-primary school- PCVN strives to take care of all types of development of the child in this stage. Physical mental, emotional and intellectual development is taken into consideration.

Primary school- The school encourages holistic learning at this stage, English, math and environmental studies are the common subjects in these classes.

Middle school- This comprises classes from 5 to 7, the school imparts learning through outdoor and classroom learning.

Senior school- Classes 9 to 12 come under this category, the choice of 3 subjects is given to the students in these classes.

Parents can collect the admission forms along with the prospectus on any working day from the school office from 15th of January for the Play Group, LKG, UKG, I to IV. For the classes V to IX and for the School Hostel the admissions will depend upon the availability of seats.
