Police Modern School was established in 1993-1994. Which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav In 1995-96 by the inspiration and efforts of Mrs. Shashi Arun wife of the Additional Director General , PAC, Mr. Sri Ram Arun, gradually Police Modern School started opening in battalions of different districts.
The school is run by a society named as “Uttar Pradesh Police Shiksha Samitee” through the fund known as “Uttar Pradesh Police Shiksha Kosh” This fund is collected by deducting Rs.10.00 every month from every police person which is called “Ansh Daan”.
Truly said ones we are successful in making the dream begin to grow, it will gradually take shape: it will expand and fill the space provided. Commencing at a primary level with only 42 students. Police Modern School rapidly grew into a high school in 1998-99 and intermediate in 2000-2001 with science and commerce stream.
