Nirmala Public School, Ernakulam

Nirmala Public School (NPS), was started in 1998 by Kothamangalam Diocese Educational and Charitable Trust having aim as  “Imparting quality education to make every student a concerned citizen of our nation." Its vision is “To mould efficient and effective Citizens”.

NPS is located on Muvattupuzha-Thodupuzha road adjacent to Nirmala College Campus. With the opening of NPS, Nirmala Campus got its long cherished dream come true of having a school affiliated to Central Board (CBSE) which was already pioneering in field of education with institutes such as Nirmala Higher Secondary School, Nirmala Junior School, Nirmala Sadan and Nirmala College of Pharmacy.

With the help of 80+ motivated faculty and staff, NPS has been providing an outstanding result. Other than studies, school regularly conducts Co-curricular events such as Annual Day, Sports Day and Book Fair etc...

Keeping wellness and overall development of students in mind NPS houses Indoor and outdoor stadium, auditoriums, well maintained libraries, well-equipped labs and conduct various activities under the banner of Fit India Movement. Apart from this, school also has pick-and-drop facility for most part of the town.

Headed by Fr.Mathew M Mundackal, NPS houses more than 1000 students showing excellent results both in studies as well as sports. Students can choose between Science and Commerce at the institute so that they can pursue the subjects of their choice.

The admission process takes place between 5th May and 31st May. The office timings are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Those seeking new admission will have to produce their transfer certificate from the school last attended. Birth certificates from a competent authority are required from those who seek admission to Class1.
